Born 30th October 1948. I grew up in the Pennine dales of north Yorkshire. The valley area that I grew up in is called Briscoe in Baldersdale. This is in the same area of the world where Hannah Hawkswell also lived. I have a younger brother who has three children well, grown up now and a younger sister who has dedicated her life to nursing.<\/p>\n

I have two grown up children a daughter with a degree in history and a son who has a degree in business studies. They are both doing quite well.<\/p>\n
I hold a full driving licence and a Class 1 HGV licence yes this means I can drive them big trucks. I enjoy reading natural world and science fiction. I also have a deep-rooted fascination with the cosmos and the entire empty? space out there. It would certainly be a waste of a lot space if it were empty maybe one day we will find out!<\/p>\n
I have developed a fairly large collection of books of many genres.<\/p>\n
Currently, my main hobby and spare time is taken up building a Cobra replica.<\/p>\n
My home computer has helped me break into the latest technology.<\/p>\n

Northern counties examination, seven subjects including Maths and English, at Barnard Castle Secondary Modern School.<\/p>\n
City and Guilds of London Institute; Motor Vehicle Mechanics Certificate, and, Motor Vehicle Technicians Certificate.<\/p>\n
The Institute of the Motor Industry Finals examination.<\/p>\n
The Institute of Road Transport Engineers examination Section C part two.<\/p>\n
These studies were all undertaken at Darlington College of Technology.<\/p>\n
